Sri Ramakrishna

A 19th-century mystic and the embodiment of spiritual harmony. His life was a testament to the truth that all religions are valid paths to the same ultimate reality. He taught that the service of man is the service of God, inspiring a new ideal of selfless work.

Sri Sarada Devi

The spiritual consort of Sri Ramakrishna and the divine mother of the spiritual movement. She exemplified unconditional love, patience, and selfless service.

Swami Vivekananda

The chief disciple of Sri Ramakrishna, who carried the message of Vedanta to the Western world. He empowered youth to serve humanity as a form of worship.

Matha Prabodhamayi

Matha Prabodhamayi is the spiritual head and guiding light of Hamsamba Sharadashram, Hospet. From childhood, she showed a deep inclination toward spirituality, compassion, and inner discipline. Born into a cultured and value-rooted family, her early life reflected sincerity, devotion, and a natural yearning for higher truth.

After completing her B.Sc. and B.Ed., her quest for spiritual knowledge deepened. Listening to the profound teachings of Swami Nirbhayanandaji Maharaj awakened in her a transformative spiritual calling. The divine lives and messages of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Sri Sharada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda further strengthened her path and purpose.

Inspired by this sacred tradition, she renounced worldly life and embraced sannyasa, dedicating her life fully to seva (service), sadhana (spiritual practice), and jnana (knowledge).

Today, Matha Prabodhamayi lovingly guides seekers, devotees, and students with clarity, grace, and simplicity. Her presence inspires purity, devotion, compassion, and inner strength in all who come to the Ashram.
